FAQs

BOD & COD.

Lime, Alum, Poly-Electrolyte, Poly Aluminium Chloride, etc as per effluent characteristics.

The thin bio-film on the elements enable the bacteria to act upon the biodegradable matter in the water and reduce the BOD content while the rapid turbulent movement of the water in the presence of oxygen available from air, certain amount of COD is also removed.

Case to case it varies because of different kW of motors.

Due to Air, It will be in suspension mode in the MBBR reactor.

For making of floccs which will be settle in settling tank.

No. TDS will not remove in ETP plant. Because of chemical doings of lime, alum, etc. it can increase. For removal of TDS, RO plant is required.

No, ETP’s treatment contains some chemical dosing and the effluent is also containing chemicals. So the sludge of the ETP cannot be used as fertilizer.
